Cold Forge is the Australian rail distributor for InterBolt bolt load monitoring technology.

InterBolt is a miniature wireless sensor embedded into a bolt or stud to measure bolt load directly, both on site and remotely. The battery-operated device helps rail owners, contractors and maintainers verify whether critical bolted connections are achieving and maintaining the required load.

InterBolt supports two main monitoring methods:

- On-site bolt load indication using LED indicators on the InterBolt end cap

- Wireless bolt load measurement through the InterBolt Tablet App
‍
- Remote monitoring through the InterBolt Gateway and Tablet App, reducing the need for routine manual inspection where remote monitoring is suitable
