A special moment was captured when GS1 Australia and Trotec Laser etched a live iTRACE GS1 identifier onto ClampLok at the stand—demonstrating real-time traceability and innovation in action. Thank you to Tony Repaci, Dimi Pachiyannis, and Caterina Slade for continuing to champion digital transformation in rail. We’re proud to play our part in building a smarter, safer rail industry. We have been actively involved in Project i-Trace since it's inception and our MD Andrew Carroll Chairs the User Group. It was also a pleasure to catch up with many familiar faces and new collaborators, including Mitch and Mikel from Konnect Rail—see the photo!—and representatives from organisations shaping our industry: RISSB, Monash Institute of Railway Technology (IRT), PWI NSW, RTAA, RTSA, IRSE Australasia, and of course, the Australasian Railway Association (ARA) for hosting.
